Mumbai: A district court in Chandigarh has issued a notice to actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut regarding her controversial film 'Emergency.' The notice comes after Advocate Ravinder Singh Bassi, former president of the District Bar Association, filed a petition claiming that the film portrays Sikhs in a negative light.
The advocate alleged that the film misrepresents the Sikh community and contains several false accusations against them. He has requested the court to register a case against Kangana Ranaut for tarnishing the image of Sikhs through her film.
